Double Page Number Two.

After my first double page spread received such negative feedback, I decided to rethink my whole double page spread idea, and I decided to go for a bigger, bolder picture as this is what my readers wanted to see, I also, after changing my image on the cover, took some more pictures as my previous pictures seemed a little pixelated.

Feedback-
Rachel- I like how the text is written on the blue and also how the main focus of the page is the photo. I like the top left hand corner of how the neon colours tie in with the outfits of the people in the image. I love it.
Alex- I love how it is mainly an image for your front cover, and how it gives the magazine a 'summer' feel, this is also reflected in your colour scheme. I like how you have incorporated the colour scheme of the rest of the magazine in just the left hand corner, it acts like a subtle trademark. I think its really clever.
Amy- I love the image used, it reminds me of holidays and summer! It looks very professional and is of high quality, it doesn't seem to have pixelated. I like the amount of text used too, there doesn't seem to be too much or too little and I love how it is part of the picture but doesn't distract away from the image. However, it could do with page numbers so that it links to the contents page, but that's all.
Kate- It looks very well thought out, the colours of the image seem to reflect them used in your magazine, yet not so much that it is overwhelming. The image is bright and fun and looks like a photo shoot, which is a good thing! The image isn't pixelated and the text colour and font really match the feel of the magazine and image, it could however, have page numbers to make it look a little more professional.
Sarah- I love how the image and the genre of your magazine seem to match, I love the colour scheme and the font. Also, I love how it looks like a poster and yet it is a double page spread. I like the simplicity of it yet, how effective it is. I love how the band name is the same of that on the front cover, to show uniformity throughout your magazine.
Me- I feel that this double page spread is a vast improvement than my intial double page spread and I will add page numbers as that is a critisism that my target readers seem to pick up on.
